The Crimson Queen

Glory to the Warrior Queen!
Symphonic Power Metal is a music genre that could have been created for heroic high fantasy. This set of tracks, the Crimson Queen EP, tells the story of a mighty warrior queen, victorious in battle, and beloved of her people, who ultimately sacrifices herself to call down a Final Strike on the evil dark warlord who tried to conquer and enslave her people.
Given each of these tracks was created using just a 400-or-fewer character prompt, it's amazing just how much detail the AI generator managed to pack into each song, I was genuinely blown away by its capabilities as I was creating these tracks.

Glory and Honour in Iron and Leather
A celebration of our mighty warrior queen and her wise and just rule. Skilled in strategy, but also in hand to hand combat, a warrior leader who leads from the front, first into the breach and last to leave, she's the kind of leader who's people will follow her anywhere. Her army has walked through fire with her, honour and loyalty above all else. She's sworn to both the goddess and her own grave, oath-bound, fearless, and brave.
Hail to the Queen of the Crimson Standard!
Honour and pride, but never forget the fallen
A great battle has been won, the forces of evil have been driven back, the army celebrates their victory, but the cost was high, and the queen knows the weight of sorrow that comes with her success.
Women and men who charged beside her, now missing from the ranks, they're gone up the crimson stair, and she always wonders if there could have been another way? Though she knows in her heart that she has no choice, evil must be fought back lest it enslave the world. But she remembers their names, and honours every last one of the fallen.
The Battle for the Black Tower
Closing in on the final stronghold of the dark lord of the black gate, the queen leads her army as they smash through the legions of terror and fight their way, blow by blow and step by step, to the very door of the great dark tower. Friends and companions fall around her, yet she fights her way into the tower, bloodied but undefeated, strikes down the last captain of the guard, and reaches the door to the great chamber. But what lies within, only she will know.
The Final Sacrifice
Her army gone, but his forces defeated, the warrior queen finally faces the dark lord of the black gate. He promises her obliteration, but she smiles through the bloodstains, "feel my hate." He unleashes his power and she fights her way towards him, every blow raising fire and thunder, but she feels his dark sorcery creeping into her veins, her lifeblood leaking into the astral planes.
Finally, on her knees, but refusing to die, she raises her arms and invokes her goddess with the words that are banned from the throne, "Mother of Storms, claim what you own!"
Gently she slips into the invocation's deadly embrace, summoning divine power in an ultimate final strike that will eradicate the dark lord once and for all!
Flames from her heartbeat,
Thunder from bone,
Mountains bow down as her goddess took the throne!
Silence, then singing, soft as a sigh,
"Sleep Iron Daughter, you taught us how to die."
Creator's notes
The first time I listened to this song after generating it, I was reduced to tears by the intensity of the feelings it invoked. It absolutely nailed everything I wanted to include, and the description of how the queen invokes her goddess and the final strike itself - "Mountains bow down as her goddess took the throne" - wow. I've long believed that the true genius of songwriting is packing as much meaning as possible into as few words as necessary. For example, Nightwish have a song where part of the lyrics are "This is the long-forgotten light at the end of the world", which is almost an entire fantasy novel in one line. This track may not be quite at that incredible level, but for an auto-generated track I was more than amazed with what it managed to come up with.
She may be gone, but her deeds will live in glory
The great battle is over, the black tower is broken, the dark lord destroyed forever by her glorious final strike. But her people will long remember she who saved them, and sing the songs of her deeds for years to come. Now they rise from the ruins, building a new kingdom of peace and prosperity with the legacy she has given them.
